Moana 2 Short Summary:

Moana 2 Parent Review:
Moana 2 is grandparent friendly. But we won’t say it’s totally toddler friendly. Remember the dive into the monster world in the first movie where there were some scary light up monsters? This movie has a scene like that and it’s longer. Everything about this movie is just a step up in intensity from the last movie. The kindergartners we had with us were slightly freaked out and said that they were scared by parts of it.
Overall, we were so impressed with this movie! We went in with VERY low expectations for two reasons. First, it wasn’t all the same team from the first movie, especially with music and direction. And secondly, because it was fast tracked from being a TV show to a movie. They left plenty of room for a Disney Plus show, if that’s the direction they want to go.
One of the reasons they did that was because of how badly Wish did at the box office last year, and y’all!! If you have not seen it, go watch it! It’s a celebration movie of 100 years of Disney. There are so many fun things about the movie, you can check out our review here.
The voice acting was wonderful. The story was more engaging than I was anticipating it being. Overall, we loved the movie and will be watching it again!
